Oklahoma freshman guard Trae Young took control early and late, finishing with 29 points and 10 assists and the Sooners beat No. 3 Wichita State 91-83.

A win against the third-ranked Shockers would be the highest-ranked opponent Oklahoma has ever beaten on the road.

Riding a six-game losing streak, the short-handed Sooners will be back in action on Tuesday night against No. 2 Kansas inside the Lloyd Noble Center. 

Oklahoma State faces a tough Wichita State team on Saturday.

Wichita State limited Oklahoma to only 30.8 percent shooting from the field as the Shockers knocked of the Sooners 76-73 in the All-College Classic.   

Even though OU and OSU fans won’t get to watch their beloved football teams take the field this Saturday, both the Sooners and Cowboys men’s basketball teams will be in action. 

Sooner baseball released its 2017 schedule on Wednesday and Pete Hughes' squad will face a balanced group of opponents from across the country.

The Big 12 Conference released its 90-game 2016-17 men's basketball schedule Thursday, completing Oklahoma's slate for the upcoming season. 

The Sooners released their non-conference basketball schedule on Monday.
